About
I am passionate about helping people learn to love and accept themselves in order to live more authentically. I understand how difficult it is to live with an inner critic. Through the practice of self-compassion, I help my clients discover their self-worth. I work closely with clients to help them gain a better understanding of themselves and their problems. Together, we identify old self-care systems and learn to understand and navigate their emotions.
I have extensive experience working with diverse populations. As a first-generation Latina woman, I personally understand the challenges that come with being a first-generation minority. I help my clients reconcile their cultures while staying authentic to who they are.
I have worked with individuals experiencing a variety of problems ranging from anxiety to life transitions such as career changes, breakups, engagements, and marriage. My experience also includes working with individuals with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and dual diagnosis.
I love helping couples find purpose, meaning, and connection in their relationships. I pull from a variety of modalities in order to equip couples with tools and insight to help strengthen their relationship and communication.
I have experience working with churches, and a variety of different ministries, providing training to better equip their leaders with the tools necessary when working with couples, youth, or individuals battling mental illness.
